Justice Initiative made a submission to The Transparency Council of Chile about proactive disclosure by government agencies and public companies to support the Council’s draft guidelines

  The Open Society Justice Initiative, with the expert legal assistance of the law firm of Ropes & Gray, is pleased to submit  “Comentarios acerca del Instructivo de Propuesta del Consejo para la Transparencia sobre Transparencia Activa para empresas públicas, empresas del Estado y sociedades del Estado, relativo a las remuneraciones de los Directores, Presidentes Ejecutivos o Vicepresidentes Ejecutivos y Gerentes responsables de la dirección y administración superior de la empresa.”

 In developing these Comments we have consulted with la Fundación Pro Acceso, Participa, Acción AG y Universidad Alberto Hurtado.

 We applaud the excellent work of the Consejo, and hope that the Comments will be useful in its deliberations.
